You can play every game without an account. You need an account to post in the forum, earn badges and get on the leaderboard. We do not collect your location.
What is stored on your device
To remember your progress, your browser keeps a small record in its local storage on this device only. It holds:
- a random player id that starts with "local-" and is not linked to you,
- your best scores, streaks, finished dailies and achievements,
- your settings, such as sound, helpers and spoiler-safe mode,
- if you log in: the time of the newest forum reply you have seen, so new replies can be marked.
This record never leaves your device. You can delete it at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser settings. Some browsers, such as Safari, clear it on their own after about seven days without a visit, so streaks are not guaranteed to last.
Cookies
Mindverse does not set cookies today. When you log in, we store a login token in your browser's local storage. It is needed to keep you logged in. If we add advertising or analytics in the future, we will update this page first, and we will ask for your consent where the law requires it before anything loads.
Accounts and the forum
When you log in, we store your email address, the username you choose, and the threads, replies, likes and reports you make. Other people see how many likes a post has, not who gave them. If you log in with Google, Google gives us your email address, your name and your profile picture. We show only your username on the forum and the leaderboard. We use your email only to log you in. We do not sell it or send you marketing.
Your data is stored by Supabase, our database provider. Posts you write are public. When you are logged in, we also store the result of each game you finish (not Practice): the game, the mode, your score, whether you won and the difficulty. Your results, badges, personal bests and leaderboard rank are public, next to your username. You can delete your account at any time on the account page. This deletes your email, your username, your game results and badges, and all your threads, replies, likes and reports. Deleting a thread also deletes the replies other players wrote in it.
We use Cloudflare Turnstile on the login form to stop bots. It does not use cookies for advertising.
Contact form
When you send the contact form on the About page, we email your message, and the name and email address you choose to give, to our own inbox. We send it through Resend, an email service. The site does not store the message. We use your email address only to answer you.
Hosting
Like any website, our hosting provider receives standard request information, such as your IP address, to deliver pages. We do not use it to identify you.
